Cafe Moto: "The Cozy Cafe"

This wholesale coffee roaster needed a place within his warehouse for his customers to sample his coffee as well as a place to train his barristas. His idea was to create a coffee shop, however, due to the industrial heritage of the neighborhood, the cafe needed to be placed in a strategic location that encouraged foot traffic and enhanced neighborhood development. Multiple designs were offered to the client before a final decision was made. The result is a fluid space bathed in natural light that blends the practical needs of a wholesale business and the inviting atmosphere of a cozy neighborhood cafe.
