Perlman Residence: "Cubic Hillside Hideaway"

This residence for two roommates is located on a steeply sloping hill that has lovely beach views but is also in a densely populated area directly underneath the flight path. The clients requested two master bedrooms rather than a single master suite, inspiring a simple symmetrical cube-shaped design. Durable glass is used throughout the exterior to maximize views yet maintain acoustic privacy from the planes. The overall effect is a secluded, hillside home with a uniquely modern geometric design.
